AMERICAN COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES
PRODUCTION SPECIFICATIONS

When submitting your manuscript, include copy for the following sidebars and fact boxes:

LOCATION (1) This section features a brief description (approx. 60 words) of the geographic area where the college is located. A star on the map indicates the city.

AT A GLANCE (2) Subheads are consistent within all college profiles. They include: type of college or university; size of campus; number of students; number of faculty; colleges, programs, and degrees; geographic diversity; percentage of international undergraduates; international student budget and services; financial aid; test score requirements; and application deadlines/fees (in US$).

BODY COPY (3) Total word count by number of pages: 600 for a one-page article; 1,100 for two pages; 1,700 for three pages; 2,100 for four pages. The totals include the copy in the two boxes and may vary depending on the number of photos.

FOR MORE INFORMATION (4) This paragraph includes the address, telephone/fax numbers, admissions e-mail, and website URL specific to international student inquiry.

Note: Make sure any 800 numbers listed will work for international calls.
